Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne is a "mahou shoujo" manga series by Tanemura Arina that was also turned into a 44-episode anime. The story revolves around a young girl named Kusakabe Maron, who is a high school student by day and the mysterious thief Jeanne at night. As the incarnation of Joan (pronounced Jeanne here) of Arc, she's doing her best to fight the demons who are plotting against God, as she "steals" objects to seal the demons away. However, she struggles with her own demons everyday, because not only is her best friend unwittingly trying to capture her alter ego, but her parents have left her alone in the world. And to complicate matters, a rival has entered!--the mysterious and handsome Kaitou Sindbad...
