A 9-volume shoujo series by Fujii Mihona, the story revolves around a high school student named Kotobuki Ran, who loves fashion, food and fun. She resists the pull of her family's occuption in the police force, but she still has her own sense of justice which she never sacrifices. She and her two friends, Yamazaki Miyu and Hoshino Aya, basically live the life of a "GAL," as well as dealing, of course, with guys...which inevitably leads to something a bit more complicated. This story was also turned into an anime series, titled "Super GALS! Kotobuki Ran," which was licensed for release in North America.
