Kinomoto Sakura is an adorable 10-year old girl with an adorably simple life--caring father, annoying older brother, secret crush, sweet best friend. But the simpleness of her life changes when she hears a sound in her father's study and opens a book titled The Clow. Inside she finds a stack of cards, and upon pronouncing the name of the first one, Windy, finds that a wind rises to blow all the other cards away. With the book's guardian, Keroberos, Sakura must now become Card Captor Sakura, and recover all the cards that have been lost, else a great disaster will befall the world. Card Captor Sakura, by CLAMP, ran in Nakayoshi and has ten manga volumes; as an anime it has 70 episodes and two movies. [ Review @ Anime Appetizers ]
