OMG, what the hell did Andrew post on my blog? o.O; And then there's Victor talking about the Amish.. ._. And does "Hey, who's the prince here? Yeah, that's right" qualify as an insult? Because if it does, Andrew already lost Sarah's bet :P
The sad thing is, the abominable song Andrew posted? I know it by heart. >.>;
Well, tomorrow is the AP US History Test, and I really can't sleep. Go figure. ^_^ I just took a practice test in my Baron's book, though (only thing I ever used it for), and I missed about.. five? Wouldn't it be nice if that was how I did in Calculus? Sigh. I didn't study, because I kept hearing Thomson's voice echoing... "Young Jedi, you know more than you think you dooooo..."
Occasionally, Thomson even talks like Yoda. You know, reversal of sentences, while he's lecturing. Wheee.
Two AP's left. I'm hoping for a 5 on AP US; if I don't get one, I just might shoot myself. Hoping to pass Calculus with a 3. I'm positive I got at least a 4 on Comp Sci, am just hoping for a 5... same for English. Normally I'd be a bit more confident, but I think I screwed myself on the essay asking for contrasts between Mexico and California. "Errr, one's Much Ado About Nothing and the other is Hamlet?" is about as close as I got. (You won't understand that unless you read the passage.)
Today's pet peeve: People talking about how they can't *wait* until Emma Watson (who is what, fourteen years old?) is at the legal age of consent. And talking about how she's going to be "smokin'" and "fine" and what not. EW. -_-; Additionally, I read somewhere that the Olsen twins have been marketed as Lolitas since they were very young. EW EW EW. I understand our country has an obsession with sex. But can it please be limited to people who are eighteen and above? ICK.
Odd moment of the day: when I signed onto AIM today, it flashed the following headline: "Women Held as Sex Slaves 3 Years". The odd part? It's termed as "BREAKING NEWS".
My iPod has been shipped XD I'm so glad, because I kept hearing things about delays and "high demand". I ordered a 15 gig iPod, and it's quite nice. apple.com is doing some weird free engraving thing, so I got that too ^^ Why not? Although you can't return an engraved iPod, which is my guess as to why they offer it free (so as to cut down on returns). My guess is I'll recieve it sometime around.. Monday? Tuesday? Or maybe even Wednesday, but I hope not.
I am such a whore. That is, a news.google.com whore. It's a weird thing. I keep up with a ton of news that way, though, so I figure it's normal to check it more than five times a day. Right? That's a random fact for you today.
I want a video game. When I was out shopping with Stacy, I found out that there's a Harvest Moon game for GameCube ^^;; For the uninformed, Harvest Moon is a series of games in which you are a... *drumroll* a farmer. One with rather mild brown hair and brown eyes. XD You take over the farm, get married, have a child, and... farm! Golly ^_^ it's a surprisingly simple concept, but I heard it's actually quite a bit of fun. I looked at a few videos of it, and it cracked me up.. somehow, the concept of giving fish to your favored girl as a means of wooing her is just too amusing to miss out on. Plus, you buy cows, a horse, and even a goat. (You also cook, but not the goat.)
There's a version of this game coming out where you actually play as a girl, but it's not coming out until Q3, 2004, whenever that is. ;_; I originally was planning to get Pikmin II (return of the slaaaves!), but it was delayed from May to June and now AUGUST. -___- I'm hoping it will come out sometime before I die, but that may be asking for too much. T_T
I should probably sleep, since I actually am beginning to feel tired now. See some of you tomorrow ^^ and see some of you .. sometime soon? :)
Spoken words: 39 have fallen.
yawn...i'm up later than you...i have a 5-7 page paper to finish...due by noon...that's 12 hours from now...plenty of time...zzz
aren't you too old for video games now? ?_?
y'know, i'd be careful about using words like lolita and such...google will pick those things up and add it to their search engine. so when someone searches for "yoda sex lolita" your page will turn up. and do you really want that kind of perv reading your blog?

That Hamlet/Much Ado thing took me a second, but it was worth the wait.
Have you seen the picture of Daniel Radcliffe in a BCBG shirt, with a room half-wrecked, rock-star style? He may also be wearing eyeliner. (If I imagined that, feel free to draw the obvious conclusions.) Half of me says, "Wow," and the other half says, "Oh, honey, don't you know middle-aged women are reserving places in the special hell just because of you?"
It's good to know that sixteen is legal in Canada and Great Britain though. You know, just in case draft-dodging becomes an issue.
Also: HAHAHAHAHAHAHA "yoda sex lolita"!!! Janice, I <3 your family.

The GC Harvest Moon is good, but the SNES one will always be the best. It's just one of those things.
I just got back from Battle of the Generic-punk-rock-bands-that-suck-so-much-they-make-me-want-to-vomit.
Yeah.
Posted by Andrew @ 05/07/2004 11:30 PM PST
I love:
1. the essays I wrote for the History AP.
2. the bookmark from Mr. Thomson.
3. the fact that Andrew went to Battle of the Bands. Oh, how the snide have fallen.
Posted by Christina @ 05/08/2004 06:00 AM PST
I'm perfectly fine with my essay #3, blah on my DBQ, and feeling rather short on #5.
Andrew, why the hell did you to to Battle of the Bands? o.O; Oh, well, at least you have *something* to insult now since the rest of us are exempt for two more entries ^_^
GC Harvest Moon not as good as the SNES? Is that similar to how Zelda fans are always saying the SNES one was the best and how nothing can ever beat it, blah blah blah?
I just woke up about ten minutes ago, and I have never been so confused. After all, I went to sleep at 5:00. PM. How the hell did I sleep fourteen solid hours? T___T; And in a really, obnoxiously tight shirt? I simply don't understand.
Btw, while Andrew went to see Battle of the Bands.. I went to see Battle of the *gasp* Mean Girls! *giggle*
I blame Stacy and Tova specifically. -_- My eyes were burning afterwards. Granted, it wasn't as bad as I was expecting, but given that I was expecting something along the lines of THE SEVENTH LEVEL OF HELL... well. Main character was insipid, her boyfriend practically had Man!Whore written on him, and I did not appreciate that there was a female character named "Janis".
Oh, and there was waay too much pink. >.<;
Off to study for my bio test. Which is, actually, today.
Posted by Janice @ 05/08/2004 07:09 AM PST
My DBQ was okay, #3 was breast-worthy (I think), and #4 was short and disorganized by comparison, but the ideas were there. Considering it's an AP, that for me constitutes love.
Wow, you win. I went to sleep at six and woke up at three. That's only nine hours. You're even better than me at sleeping!
...But I win at movies. I can't believe you saw Mean Girls. You're out of the band.
And I love this:
How the hell did I sleep fourteen solid hours? T___T; And in a really, obnoxiously tight shirt?

I had to type this all out, there aren't lyrics on the internet. This is a sped up version, I found the original, but it's in some really dumb flash animation that I would be embarrased to put up here. And now...
Ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, Banana-phone.
Ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, Banana-phooone.
I got this feeling,
So appealing,
For us to get together and sing, SING.
Ring, ding, ding, ding, ring, ring, ring, Banana-phone.
Ding, dong, ding, dong, ding, dong, ding, Banana-phooone.
It grows in bunches,
I have my hunches,
It's the best! Beats the rest!
Celualr, modular, interactive-odular.
Ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, Banana-phone.
Ping, pong, ping, pong, ping, pong, ping, Panana-phooone.
It's no baloney,
It ain't a phony,
My cellular, bananular phooone.
Don't need quarters,
Dont' need dimes
To call a friend of mine.
Don't need computer,
or TV,
To have a real good time.
I'll call for pizza,
I'll call my cat,
I'll call the White House,
Have a chat!
I'll place a call around the world,
Operator get me Bejing-jing-jing-jing.
Ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, ring, Banana-phone.
Yin, yang, yin, yang, yin, yang, yin, Yanana-phooone.
It's a real live mama and papa phone,
A brother and sister and a dog-a-phone,
A grandpa phone and a grandma phone too, oh yeah!
My cellular, bananular phooone.
Banana phone, ring, ring, ring.

Too much for even you to put up here? Dear god in heaven, may it never pass my eyes.
I just ate a ton of ice cream from Coldstone's. My dad put money into the tip box and said, "I am putting this here to get a song."
They sang a twenty second one. I was very impressed. (It was only a dollar.)
Sooooo... do bananas serve the same purpose as .. say, carrots?

Dude, We (with a capital "W") grew up with the SNES, so We have to like it the best, even though all the ones that come after it may be strictly better, (except for the PS2 one, I can honestly say that sucked)
And the "It's just one of those things." means it's a joke.
Posted by Andrew @ 05/08/2004 08:48 PM PST
Dude, bananas are all curved.
Posted by Andrew @ 05/08/2004 08:49 PM PST
Awww, but curved ones just hit those special areas all the more.. nicely.
I guess Andrew only likes straight bananas.

Wow, you're extremely evil.
I'm putting this here just because I think it's actually more annoying than Andrew.
http://tuna.ytmnd.com/
Posted by Janice @ 05/08/2004 09:05 PM PST
Let's take a poll.
Who's more evil, Janice or Andrew?
This does not count as making fun of anyone.
Posted by Andrew @ 05/08/2004 10:56 PM PST
Right. Does Andrew want to win or lose this poll? I must ask.
Posted by Janice @ 05/08/2004 11:38 PM PST
You know, now that I think of it, I'm not so sure.
Posted by Andrew @ 05/08/2004 11:41 PM PST

Satchel is such a cool word. We had this big thing at Muir with the word satchel.
It's such a cool word.
