:> Well, I've finished my six hours of driving with a licensed instructor.. isn't that fascinating?
Milestone of the day: Victor commented on my blog. I'm guessing it's Earl who gave the addy to him, unless Victor typed "Janice blog" into google and got this or something. I always wonder what my friends who aren't into anime & manga think when they see my blog.. I mean, look at it :P
Out of sheer boredom, I really did type in "Janice blog" into google just right now, and like, three Janice's with my last name came up and not a single one is me. What is the point in my existence? If I ever should have children (the poor condemned things), I'm giving them really obscure names that I make up myself and marrying a guy with a 35-letter last name that no one else shares so that they'll never type it into a search engine and find anyone but themselves.
...
Okay, maybe not, but it's kinda fun to say so. I am definitely not going to marry another Korean (what, and become Kim? Chang? Choi? I think not), and will never name my kids anything like Daniel (in my life time, I've known over twenty and am first cousins with two - on the SAME SIDE OF THE FAMILY) or Paul (three) or Mary (four) or Jennifer (five). Really :x Oh, and the real reason so many Korean boys are named "Daniel" or "Paul" or "Peter"? It's the Bible, I tell you, the Bible.
Actually, the first half of the above paragraph is a moot point because I plan on keeping my name (for professional purposes). What's the point? :P My husband can change *his* name if it's so bad for a married couple to have different surnames. My cousin just got married (um, maybe not "just", they're going to have a baby any day now) - she was a Kim, now she's a Kang. -_-; Does anyone see my point?
I just re-watched the Pokemon movie (the first one). Don't ask, I was really, really bored, and I do own it after all ^^ I wanted to see how the pokemon looked compared to Smash Bros., especially because Mew popped out of a pokeball the other day. (How cuuuute! <3) Most of it's very similar.
Anyway, it's been really hot here these last few days :x well, at least it's a comfort to know that my sisters were melting in Venice sometime last week.. they went to ROME. The colliseum (I know I'm spelling that wrong). *jumps up and down* I would kill to go on a two week vacation to Europe... I think I'll go when I'm in Uni. :> I'd like to go to Ireland, England, Italy, France (to take a look at that disgustingly opulent palace), Germany, Switzerland, Austria (it'd be kinda neat to see the conference center in Vienna used after Napoleon's defeat), Spain... all the big European countries. :O
:>
^ Does that face resemble a bird to you? I think not.
Today's spindly count: 3
1) murdered by me slapping a piece of paper against it
2) murdered by me standing on top of the second floor banister and squishing it with kleenex
3) murdered by me luring it on a piece of paper and then folding it
For the uninitiated, spindly = spider, as Andrew calls it.
I slept a solid fourteen hours last night :) It was really very nice, although one should've seen the look my mother gave me when I came down to eat breakfast at five o'clock in the afternoon. (I WAS TIRED, I didn't get much sleep the night before doing my stupid english project.) ^_^ I wasn't allowed to eat as we were going to have dinner soon.. blah. My mother made me chop stuff up - ended up cutting a lot of green onion - but I flat out ran away when she pulled out the raw squid - whole, I tell you, whole - and held the knife up at me. BLECK. (This is funny because I didn't really have that much trouble dissecting stuff in Haynes.. I think the frog and cat were the worse. Frog because of the bits of squishy yellow fat, and the cat because of the matted fur.. eww.. ^^ Does anyone remember Katie gagging repeatedly until people thought she'd throw up? ^.^ Good thing MY table didn't have that problem, eh-hem. [for those who weren't in my lab table, there were several moments with my head out the window trying to breathe])
I kinda miss doing Chemistry labs, just because it was kinda fun boiling stuff, blowing stuff up (um, the time we took the glass cover off of one of the beakers, there was this huge popping noise and the glass flew by me and Stacy's face and we thought we were gonna die :P), splashing water everywhere as I cleaned the glassware, Earl coming over to harass us (and criticize my dishwashing abilities -.-), and occasionally hearing explosions from the side of the room Nick was on. (I can't believe Thompson didn't notice him melting chewed gum and coins. Really.) And every single bit of glassware I ever washed was PERFECTLY CLEAN by the time I was done, even in a sink that measure two by four inches. (And I apologized to Matt for soaking his backpack. I did!)
Oh, and the breaking of glassware. I broke a graduated cylinder (just turned out and went *bam*), Taleen broke a beaker, someone else broke another graduated cylinder.. I think Tanya never broke anything, but she was the only one at our lab table to survive :P I think Stacy broke a beaker once.
Nick broke a beaker and no one ever knew how (even him, and I think he usually kept track of that sort of thing). It was probably just that it was an old beaker and he was heating a hot-water bath.. The bottom just came out like it was cut or something, and water went all over the bunsen burner :P that was.. weird.
I need to start working on my AP US history project.. I think Andrew called my english project the homework from hell, but that was only because I didn't know about it soon enough. This one is truly the Homework From Hell. It has two or three essays, a magazine article, a magazine COVER, and two sets of questions to fill out based on a couple of articles - all due by exactly 10:00 a.m. on the 6th. Eww :x Blah. The magazine cover will be fun since I'm actually allowed to use the computer and I don't have to draw.. my photoshop skills are only about average, but I can make something look rather presentable with average :>
I'm downloading chapter one of Skip Beat! right now from channel #grandline on irc.mircx.com.. ::grins:: I've never read this manga before, but I have read the translations, and it's realllly funny ^.^ a rather domestic and simple girl named Kyoko runs away from home with the guy she likes in order to support him in his career in being an idol (a super-star actor). Some time later, the hardworking, earnest and basically being stepped-on Kyoko finds out that he's just using her as a convenient maid, cook, and slave all rolled up in one.. :P instead of falling apart into tears, she turns into Demon-Kyoko, dyes her hair a very shocking shade of orange-blonde, and decides to become a better idol than him and crush his career forever ^^
Kyoko's a great character, her ex-boyfriend is an absolute bastard, and her new love interest (I think that's what he is.. kinda hard to tell especially since he's older than her by a lot) is really hot. Daisuki yo, Ren-sama! <3_<3 (those are supposed to be hearts for eyes if you can't tell ^^;) Anyway, it's by the same artist as Tokyo Crazy Paradise, so I'm in love ^^ Ren is even better looking than Ryuji, probably because he's (Ryuji is a blonde), older (Ryuji was 14, Ren is in his twenties), and just .. mm :) Looks like the author of the manga can't get away from the main male characters being mostly serious, sorta-evil dark guys (Ryuji was the leader of the Japanese equivalent of the mafia) that only occasionally goof off.. ^^ Oh well.
Btw, I was playing Smash earlier: I HATE playing as the Mario Bros. characters, but at least they have half-way decent Smash attacks (Marth and Zelda have very good ones IMO). There's someone I hate more but I forget who :x and no, it's not Pichu, Earl, because Pichu's cuteness makes up for his lack of battling skills. (And besides, if you do down-B and it doesn't hit him, he doesn't get hurt!)
The last thing I just ate: Tyson's popcorn chicken dipped in a combination of tapatio & tabasco sauce. Actually, this is really good ^_^ although don't drink any water because you won't be able to take any more. Oh well. :)
Andrew, I asked you this before but you DID NOT ANSWER: do you use greymatter?
Spoken words: 5 have fallen.
>>ahem<< no, andrew uses blogger. i'm not installing gm for him -_-'' he wouldn't get it at all... hehehehehehe. I LOVE GM!

Your english assignment is the homework from hell and your history project is the homework from Satan himself. And Victor.

Spindly was the NAME of that spider, but I'm going to call all the innocent spiders horribly maimed or killed by you Spindly.
In related news, Augusto's chat on his oekaki's name is Chattily Pete.
Blogger is good enough. Augusto, if you love greymatter so much, why did you try to switch to BT?
:> Looks like a bird, damn it.
Link has horrible smashes. The multi-hit ones suck because you have to hit them with the last one.
I use Luigi a lot (almost as much as I use Marth =P.) The down smass, and forward attack in the air are good, damn it. (That makes THREE 'damn it's so far, I'm on a roll.)
Yeah, I think that's it.
